Authority Loophole Reviewed - Will It Really Work?

I finally got to download and use the the Authority Loophole software Chris Rempel released this morning.  I have to say the software is pretty well put together for the price tag - FREE!  What this software does is provide you a way to exploit an existing Wordpress plugin for your own backlinking benefit.  It works by finding you blogs with the Top Commenters plugin installed, allowing you to post your link there.

This is where the ethics of the thing turn a little murky.  What the Top Commenter plugin does is display a list of the Top Commenters on the right or left side of the blog on every page of the blog.  The value in this for the website is that the Top Commenters get exposure for their comments and want to keep posting.  What Chris and Dave want you to do is use one of the Top Commenters name's in your own comment and then place a well thought out and written comment on an article, this will turn the previous commenters name into a backlink to your site.

If you haven't commented on a blog before and don't understand what I'm saying try it now.  It will ask you for your name, email, and website address before allowing you to post your comment.  When you input your name and your website address if the comment is approved your name will turn into a link back to your website.  The standard way to comment is to use a keyword for your name and then post your website and comment, which would give you a keyword based backlink.

The problem with the traditional way of doing things is that your backlink is going to have very little link juice headed back to your website because it's only placed on one post that may not have much page rank.  With this method you hijack someone else's Top Commenter spot and earn yourself a link on every page for commenting once.  The only problem with this is that your link isn't keyword based.

Frankly I think this method is a little gray hat but will probably work well for you if you don't rely on it alone.  The search engines like a variety of links coming into your site and this is a good way to build varied backlinks from high PR blogs.

Now before I set you lose on it, Chris and Dave put together an Upsell called Profit Loophole that you have to take a look at to get the software.  I didn't buy this and don't plan on buying it unless the reviews are outstanding so I can't recommend it.  Just thought you should know
