Jon Leger's My Way Links Reviewed
So I was on the list for one of Jon's products and he kept emailing me about his new product My Way Links and how it took the hassle out of linking for webmasters. I've always heard good things about his 3 Way Links setup so I stayed on his list despite the promotions. I eventually gave in and purchased My Way Links in its beta stage and I must say I'm impressed so far.
The way My Way Links works is that you join the program, setup a links page on your site using a wordpress plugin or an automatically generated PHP page. Then once your website is approved you are in the system. Next you login into the system and request links from other sites in the system, enabling you to define your anchor text, description and page to link to. It's based on credits so the more links you accept or purchase the more links you can get back to your site.
The most difficult part of the process was setting up the links page, which by the way isn't called "links". It's not something you can't figure out though, and only took me two tries to wing it no instructions. I think this may have been due to the beta testing of the system, and Jon probably hasn't had time to setup the tutorials on this.
From what I've been reading at Web Marketing Now, systems like this don't really help in the long run as Google is pretty smart. The links are genuine and most of the people in the system are semi-picky about what they link to so you can't just go in and spam the system. I also like the fact that you can sign up with one site and link to another, as long as your first site's links remain intact.
Update: As I've been studying more at Web Marketing Now I've realized you probably don't need to spend your money on systems like this and I've cancelled both my subscriptions to this and to AMA. Instead I'd invest my money in training at Web Marketing Now, Directory Submissions, or PPC Traffic.
