Essential Mac Internet Marketing Tools

Internet Marketing Tools seem to be skewed towards Windows at the current time so I thought I'd write a post containing all of the invaluable tools I use to conduct my Internet Marketing business everyday. I know you'll love these tools too!

Mac's rock!

ScreenFlow

Screenflow is one of the most essential Internet Marketing tools available. It basically captures everything you're doing on screen and makes a video out of it. The thing that I love about Screenflow is that it captures every pixel of your screen and only records the changes so it's not resource intensive like the alternative IShowU or Camtasia for Windows. It also comes with a great video editing system that allows you to put together several different captures or mesh audio, and do easy trimming. Anything more and I tend to export it to IMovie for the final additions.

Quicksilver

Quicksilver is a great time saver app that allows you to pull up any content, any time using keyboard hot buttons, no mouse needed. I open all of my apps using this handy little device and I also can add content to my notes anytime I want using it. Frankly this application is very difficult to explain to the uninitiated, but it's worth the time to learn how to use.

FlexTime

Flextime is a great time keeping app that allows you to setup a process of tasks that you need to do and then allocate a certain amount of time to complete them. I've setup my article writing routine and several other routine tasks that have individual actions needed to complete them in Flextime and it's improved my productivity many fold. This technique is based off of Robert Plank teachings which you can read up on at:

The Gimp

The Gimp is a graphics editing program similar to Photoshop but much much cheaper - think FREE! Once you learn to use the Gimp it's an essential tool in your marketing arsenal for the creation of website themes, buttons, or graphic headers.

1Password

1Password is a private data management application that allows you to store routine information such as passwords, your identity, & credit cards. When you fill out forms a lot 1Password is great.

AntiRSI

AntiRSI is designed to keep you from staring at that computer screen for too long. It makes you take 10-15 second breaks to preserve your eyes and then it tells you to take a 7 minute break at set times. Also free but a donation is recommended.

Market Samurai

Market Samurai is the premier keyword tool at this time. This cross-platform (Windows and Mac) allows you to tap into The Google External Keyword Tool and pull data out then analyze it in a variety of fashions including a competitive analysis.
